Why Iftar on a Yacht?
There is something about sharing Iftar on the open water that stays with you. The call to prayer carries across the marina, you break your fast with dates and laban as the yacht glides past JBR, and by the time the main course arrives, the skyline is lit up around you.
We have been running these Ramadan cruises for families, friend groups, and corporate gatherings for years now. Most guests book a private charter: pick your yacht, bring your group, and our onboard chef handles the rest. The menu blends traditional Ramadan dishes (harees, vimto, luqaimat) with an international spread.
If you want the experience without chartering a whole yacht, we also run shared cruises during Ramadan with per-person tickets starting from 149.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions from guests booking their first Iftar cruise.
What time does the Iftar yacht cruise depart?
We depart from Dubai Marina about an hour before Maghrib prayer. Exact timing adjusts throughout Ramadan as sunset times shift. We send you the confirmed boarding time 24 hours before your cruise.
Is the menu halal?
Yes, everything served onboard is 100% halal. Our chefs prepare a traditional Ramadan spread including dates, laban, soups, and a full buffet with both Arabic and international dishes.
Can I book a private charter for my family or group?
Absolutely. Most of our Iftar guests book private charters. Pick your yacht, tell us how many guests, and our team handles the menu, timing, and route. Private charters start from AED 3,500 depending on yacht size.
How long is the cruise?
The standard cruise runs 2 to 3 hours. That gives you time to board, enjoy the sunset, break your fast, eat a proper meal, and take in the views before returning. Private charters can extend if you want more time.
What route does the yacht take?
We sail from Dubai Marina past the JBR beachfront, around Bluewater Island and Ain Dubai, and loop toward Palm Jumeirah before heading back. The coastline looks particularly good after dark.
Is there a prayer space onboard?
Yes. We set aside a quiet, clean area for prayer on every Iftar cruise. Prayer mats and a qibla direction indicator are provided.
Can children come on the Iftar cruise?
Yes, children are welcome. We have kid-friendly options on the menu, and the yacht has safety railings throughout. Children under 3 usually board free of charge.
When is Ramadan 2026?
Ramadan 2026 is expected to begin around February 18 and end around March 19, depending on moon sighting. We publish confirmed cruise dates as soon as the official calendar is announced.
